Operations Support Officer

The job
As Operations Support Officer you will provide support during the operational process, by coordinating, planning and fine-tuning production activities in the medium and short term. You also set up and maintain performance indicators for quality, time and cost.

You are the spider in the web between the various departments of the organization. Think of production management, work preparation, engineering and procurement. You ensure that only "workable work" reaches the production departments.

Due to your efficient and good planning you contribute to an optimal process flow which results in shorter lead times. We expect you to prevent roadblocks in production so the work of people and machines will be as efficient as possible.

As Operations Support Officer, you will set up and maintain performance indicators, based on these you start improvement processes to reduce lead times and increase efficiency and effectiveness.

You will be part of the production team.

What we expect from you

• At least a completed MTS- education in a technical or business administration direction.
• You are accurate, and you coordinate and monitor the progress of activities.
• You have insight into production/assembly processes.
• You are customer and result oriented.
• You remain focused, also when many issues keep popping up.Dutch and English speaking/listening and reading/writing.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• At least two years of experience in a similar role.
• You enjoy having a responsible role within an organization
