Airbus Netherlands searches for its business Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) a Lead Engineer. These high end electronic racks are used to test satellite components and complete setups. As a Lead Engineer you hold key knowledge about these systems. You are able to specify requirements and draws up the design & development plan for a (sub)system. Based on the requirements you negotiate specifications with customers and subcontractors.
The team
You will be working in a multidisciplinary environment. Collaborating with fellow engineers in different fields and the sales department. For some projects you will provide leadership for other you collaborate. In any case it is you who will make proposals and suggestions for the further development of the systems to the team.
